Cue hearty evil laughter (although I don't think I'll be finding this funny at all the morning of the 18th when I return to work straight from the airport)... and the next trip is still in planning stages but it's looking like strokes (Toronto), Interpol (nyc, boston,boston- ok, maybe I did get a little carried away)... & I may not see the white stripes at all b/c I don't think I can afford it & I'm starting to find Jack White's eerie resemblance to Michael Jackson just a little creepy... and, off topic, but what the hell is this? um, ok...

Pete Libertine has gone to jail, where presumabley he will not have access to email so no missives from him for a while. I've done something terribly immature and joined the strokes fanclub (something I said I would never do, I've never joined a fanclub EVER so we'll see if what they send me makes it worth it), they will be playing nyc Oct 29/30 so I'm afraid the presale info doesn't do me any good after all, as the shows fall directly b/w my interpol week in October and a possible November trip for the rescheduled white stripes (also the same weekend as pop explosion) ...

I've been listening to this song by Panthers on repeat for the last several weeks (I've been waiting to get tired of it but it hasn't happened yet, oddly enough). And, yes, Longwave are lovely aren't they? (listen to the xfm session or something else (stills- in honour of montreal in a couple of weeks/
the rapture- as heard from the windows of a black SUV yesterday) can be found here though it may take a minute).... and it's too funny how amazon keeps recommending me the shins "oh inverted world"...
