pete libertine is out of jail and playing shows again but I'm starting to wonder, what kind of a celebrity crush is a 6'3" drug addict who's shaved off all of his hair ? It's not been a lot of fun these past few weeks... download this anyway (but be sure to turn the sound way up) and more ... the new march records mix is up ... yay illegal music!

william powell and jimmy stewart : they both remind me of my grandfather who played drums in a dance band in the 1920's and had a wall of tv's in a closet before anyone else had a wall of tv's anywhere

the devastatingly (& yes debate-ably) lovely pete doherty (ok, I had a *much better* picture but maybe this one will work and this, I'm ashamed to say I have it on my wall right now) of the libertines(responsible for one of my favorite unreleased records of the year and some lovely incomprehensible ramblings here and on his own band's fansite messageboard ). "everyone is loved up & how glorious" indeed (well not everyone, I guess) ! Apparently all of my local crushes look a bit like this which is a frightening since the real Paul Banks actually turned and ran from me in Boston (honestly I wasn't chasing him) ...
